My name is Cory Sharpless, a Georgia guy now proudly calling Chattanooga, TN home — Go Lookouts! I’m lucky enough to have a career that sends me all over this great country, and while most folks wind down in a hotel after a long day at their “real” job, that’s never been my style. If there’s a ballpark within driving distance, that’s where you’ll find me.

I absolutely love Minor League Baseball — not just the affiliated teams, but the whole beautiful ecosystem. The independent leagues with their grit and personality. The summer collegiate leagues with their raw energy and future stars. The small towns, the quirky promotions, the characters you meet in the stands, and the stories that live long after the final out.

I’m just as happy sitting in my season‑ticket seat at Erlanger Park watching my Chattanooga Lookouts as I am cheering on the Portland Pickles on a cool Northwest night. Every ballpark has its own heartbeat, and every league has its own flavor of magic.

This project is my way of capturing that magic — through stories, interviews, and the voices of the people who make baseball what it truly is: personal, local, and unforgettable.
